Day 392

Day 392 - DIY Lunchables!  D really loves lunchable days.  I'm not really sure why but they make her happy.  Today's is ham, colby/jack cheese, crackers, yellow grape tomatoes, some diced pear and grapes.

  1. Do you use any methods to keep the pear from getting brown by lunchtime?

    1. Caitlin,
      I typically add a splash of lemon juice to a bowl of water and rinse the pears (or apples) in it before putting them into the lunch box.

  2. Just curious on how you do the thicker cuts of meat and cheese? Do you buy it thicker from the deli? Thank you!

    1. Yes I ask the deli to slice it about 1/4 inch thick.

  3. What kind of ham do you use? I get so confused at the deli when I ask for ham and they give me 15 different options LOL I just want HAM heehee
